*After hours of frustration, I found my own workaround, but this is for people who have purchased it via amazon, hope I can help someone. I tried appealing and they rejected mine too, so here:* If you purchased it on amazon, you can resend the code to your email. Then you need to use a different email on your browser which isn't associated with the google play account. I used hotmail, then after I was signed into google and on the google play website in my browser (DONT SIGN INTO GOOGLE PLAY ACCOUNT, ONLY YOUR GOOGLE EMAIL THING), I clicked the email link to "Get your gift card" then I clicked "Redeem" link in that email. Do not input the code manually. Then it will take you to the google playstore and say "Do you want to add £50" to your account? Click yes. Then it should throw up an error and say "Could not add balance to your account because its not valid at this time". Ignore this, it will prompt you to make an account, put your info in. Then after you've done that, it should bypass that block and redeem. Do not create a google play account beforehand, use some hotmail account on your browser, then let it prompt you to make an account for you. I spent hours trying to fix this issue, fudge google.
